Beyond Natural Horsemanship

Horse focused means the attention is on the horse and the horse’s perspective.  Horse focused is a step beyond natural horsemanship and begins to acknowledge that the horse has a voice in the horse/human connection.   We begin to allow the horse to make choices and decisions in the relationship.  Even more importantly, we begin to observe and learn how humans emotion, will, ego and intention can influence each situation and the overall bond that is created.  We learn we must become more responsible for ourselves and when we do, we will open the door to a whole new world with our horses.
